We have recently supported a client who required an interim director to set up and run a project services function, which was then expanded to take on financial control following a resignation. After setting the function and processes up for the client, the Schooltel interim director then supported the CIO in finding a permanent head of the function.
A European client needed an interim Schooltel PMO manager to set up and run a PMO for a large transformation programme. Once the programme was up and running, the client was able to place a permanent employee in role to run the function.
A global logistics client was faced with providing a global PMO manager during a period of maternity leave for one of their employees. Following a short handover, the interim manager provided the service across 3 time zones and for over 250 projects in support of the CIO's office, before handing back to the original employee on her return.
Another logistics client suffered a resignation of their Head of Systems Integration Competency Centre at short notice. They sought out an experienced Schooltel interim manager who could take on and run the function whilst looking for a long term permanent recruit.
A UK public sector organisation needed an interim head of IS Operations for their web business, following some major re-engineering and re-organisation. Schooltel fielded an interim manager and subsequently provided a permanent replacement within 3 months.
